Back-up aluminum plates reinforce all top connectors. Extra heavy duty internal spreaders. Slip-resistant traction-tred steps are double riveted and knee-braced. Aluminum external rail shields help protect against abrasion damage. Rubber step bumpers to resist damage. The edge bracing system helps to decrease damage to rail. Shoe pads riveted to the edge structure. Every rivet backed up by metal part or washer to protect rails. Dimensions: Top 8-1/4" x 14-1/2", step 3" wide. Rails 3-1/8" wide, flange 1-3/16" wide.

Werner T7400 Series Fiberglass Multi-Use Twin Stepladders are built to support two people (one per side). T7400 ladders less than 12 feet high have a Type IAA duty rating (375 pound load capacity per side), while the 14-foot through 20-foot sizes are rated at 300 pounds per side.
Completely dependable, each ladder features slip-resistant Traction-Tred steps that are double riveted and knee braced for a safe climb and descent. Black Glas*Mark violators stripes on the rails increase visibility of the ladders on the jobsite.
EDGE Braces and External Rails Shields for Durability
Each Werner T7400 Series stepladder offers the unique EDGE (Energy Diffusing Geometry) bracing system. This molded brace and foot-pad combination provides enhanced strength and increased protection against damage during transit and on the job. Each ladder features an aluminum external rail shield to help protect against abrasion damage, and shoe pads are riveted to the EDGE structure.

I am a residental contracter and use it every day. Its works great for two guys to work off of and also strong enough to use with an aluminum walk plank. The heavy duty spreaders and fiberglass rail sheilds make this ladder very sturdy even on soft ground. I bought a 6 footer and plan to buy another along with two 8 footers. Very stable and works great to span scaffolding planks to. All twin-sided step-ladders will cost more than their single-sided counterparts. However, the flexibility of being able to use either side, or to safely support two people, is the major advantage of this ladder. While on the ladder, I frequently switch to the other side, for better positioning, without dismounting first. Also, having a fiberglass frame, it won't transmit electricity. It's high-quality and designed to last a very long time under heavy use. It's comfortable to stand upon, as the treads are quite deep and heavily grooved to prevent slipping.
